"The Known Secret"

How would you define me?
Am a detachable part of life around you just sucked in.
The floating elixir of diversity you took in.
Diversity of gases, fragrance and dust... stardust sometimes.
Inside you I am,now called a breath.
This time your breath.
A part of you for sometime,
Running in your veins.
And here I am at my favorite place.
The four chambers of purity,
Glinting gold like some lake on a sunny noon,
Your heart.
And there I see it,
You too have kept it inside.
All this love still here, locked in shackles.
Unfiltered yet untouched and unexplored.
Unknown?
I know not who you are,
Man or woman,
Young or old,
Criminal or innocent,
But everytime I stride to my favorite place,
I see love.
Everytime.
Funny you are, human.
Whining about that same little chunk of sunshine
which you have been caging behind the veils of darkness inside.
And yet again I will try my best.
Hoping this time it will make a difference.
Infused in your blood,
I will stride to your ears,
Just to whisper,
"It's all in you,all in here.
 It's all in here."
Give my whispers some meaning,
And define me your own way.

The Serpentine Lanes of Varanasi

V aranasi, a holy city, is popular for the presence of its long stretch of beautiful ghats, temples, holy river Ganges, its indigenous cuisine, and the list goes on. But the main attraction for me is the  'gullies'  of Varanasi; narrow alleyways between tall stone buildings in the old part of the city. The world inside these gullies is enormous and beautiful in its own way.  One day I got an opportunity to take a journey inside the gullies with the help of Walks of Varanasi. The journey was from Nai Sarak, to Dashswamedh Ghat. In between we passed through colorful and scintillating markets of Varanasi along the serpentine lanes. As you enter the lane you see several stores, which have been there for several decades. Moving forward one can observe the transition from garment market to jewelry market to kite market to artifact market and many more. Life After Death You live for years and then in the end you die. What really happens after death? Nobody knows. Some say good ones go to heaven and bad ones to hell.
