Phoenix - The story of Resurrection

Watching the good old harry potter movie, I came across a very magnificent creature…the phoenix. Yup, the big blazing bird which burns itself and reborn from its own ashes. Though seen before more times than I can count, the story of this creature caught me this time for a moment. The bird which burns itself and is born from the same end. Kind of reminds me of the situations one suffers in real life where we burn ourselves with the conflicts going on between our minds and our hearts.
We are all very familiar to such situations where we end up at the crossroads and don’t know where our life is heading anymore. Feels quiet helpless. Out of ways and certainly out of reasons to hold on to anything. Yes friends, life throws us all such curves which brings us down to our knees and kind of wondering why did it happen to us?

A failure faced, a job lost, a betrayal or a heartbreak maybe that made you dark, faithless, alone, angry….LOST. The feelings, deep emotions, attachments and specially the memories. All fueling the never extinguishing fire that keeps burning us just like a phoenix which burns itself and meets its demise. But the real catch in all this is if we choose to be the one whose story ends when burned down or the one that makes out a brand new phoenix out of ourselves.

Every hit we take. Every time we are let down and every way we fall. Everything that breaks you is also the same thrust that gives you the urge to get back upon your feet again. To return back in the game and hit down every blow thrown at you with twice the power it came at you. All you got to do is believe that you are the same person you were before people turned their back on you. It’s those hypocrites who were nothing but a blot in the name of friendship and weren't worthy of the care, respect, love and honor you gave them. Who were too coward to stand up to you when you needed them the most. You still have the same courageous heart, the same guts to take a rightful stand no matter who you have to go against and the same fire that once was what defined you, just that this time it’s not the fire that’s withering you down to ashes. It’s the one you control. The symbol of your power and supremacy.

You don’t have to be what others want you to be. You don’t have to try to please them, it’s your pride you have to turn into a legacy. Take control rather than being controlled by the fake people and their equally fake presence. Live out loud. Do what you love with all your heart. You are the alpha male and it’s you who rules your world, not them.

Sure it’s easier said than done. But, then we all know, a victory achieved easily isn’t a true victory in the first place. Take charge of your life. Burn the past and bring out a new stronger you from it just like a phoenix and in the end you’ll know, everything that hurt you was worth every strand of a MAN you are today.
